Another great weekend with 2 very enthusiatic participants! Donny came all the way from Kluang to participate in this session! And Nani dropped by to help out and join in the fun...Thanks to all for a great session!

Basic To Intermediate - Jan 17, 2009

The first batch for 2009's Basic to Intermediate class was held last Saturday, January 17th at the Hutan Bandar recreational park in JB. There were six participants; Eddy, Zamie, En.Bakri, Zirah, Acid, Mustaqim and Ms Sofea, the model for the day. We had a great time, so much so that we continued shooting 'til 7pm ! Anyway, a very big thank you to all for being such good sports!

Nikonian Academy - Basic To Intermediate :May 17, 2008

We had the largest group ever in this session, 15 participants! One of the participants, Faisal, came all the way from Brunei!

It was a cloudy day then, all the participants had a blast trying out fill-in flash techniques.
With Nikon's SB600 and SB800, make sure it's on TTL and BL and adjust the flash compensation to optimal negative value. The correct value is dependent on ambient light. We just need the flash to minimally "touch" the subject. Another guide is to make sure that there are no shadows created by the flash.
